I was wondering if there is another fonts which supports all such symbols? The 11 math fonts were chosen primarily because they happen to be available on my system.

Your system may have either more of fewer unicode math fonts. In the screenshot, you'll notice that Neo Euler doesn't feature an upright-bold lambda symbol. This isn't really surprising, since the Euler math font is an upright as opposed to "slanted" or "sloped" font anyway. In addition to judging a math font by the completeness of its symbol set -- of course, no font's collection of symbols can ever be truly "complete" -- you should also think about whether the appearanceor lookof the symbols including sum, product, and integral symbols satisfies your typographic needs.

Since Mico graciously suggested I should expand my comments into an answer, I would like to add that there is another large class of math symbols available. Many math fonts use the OpenType stylistic set or alternate font features to add variants. STIX Two is especially profligate with them: it comes with seventeen stylistic sets in addition to the default! You can set a stylistic set as the default, or set a range of characters to one as in the previous example, or replace individual code points.

There is also the option to remap a font to a particular math alphabet, such as Fraktur or blackboard bold. You can also open any math font in FontForge and check for stylistic and alternate sets: stylistic sets have names such as ss01 and alternates, such as the one for Asana Math, are salt.

The Corel built in text editor is just completely not enough for that, and as far as I tried I couldnt' find any way to transport graphically! And to do that, I need to do a full zoom of a pdf file created from the word file, and then do print screen many times, and put them together, to at last have my equation in x pixels resolution.

Even acrobat pro cannot do me a dpi jpeg file when saving as jpeg, it's even worse than print screen!

Gstreamer error in opencv

A clean solution would be to use postscript or EPS Nothing at all! Always errors A mess with fonts or something as always, and even when the pdf page contains only Times New Roman, at the opening of the. PS file in Corel, Corel will see some Helvetica somewhere, say that it tries to replace it with another font, but the final output is just blank, everytime!

Or sometimes instead of the text I was waiting, there will be some warning about a PPD file incorrect or printer not supporting postscript level 3, or something I'm just lost here Microsoft word. Adobe illustrator. Although the question is quite old, I believe that this answer might help others with the same or a similar problem. As KingOliver already mentioned, using LaTeX is a good way for typesetting mathematical formula and equations. And last but not least, it is possible to change the formula after inserting, since its LaTeX-code is stored as object data variable.

Instruction on how to install it, combined with some troubleshooting, can be found here. Let me tell you a little background on your problems. The equations that you create in MS Word are using symbols that are part of the Cambria Math typeface. So when you try to import the document into Corel it doesn't know which font it should be using to display the equation symbols. You will need to outline your fonts convert them to paths before you can import the equation into Corel.

The problem is how do you outline your fonts? If you know any print providers, they will have prepress tools that can convert the fonts inside PDFs to outlines. Additionally, if you are passingly fluent in LaTeX, a mathematical typesetter, you can use this link and download the GIF that is your equation.

It has very even spacing and proportions. Diagonal and vertical hairlines and serifs are relatively strong, while horizontal serifs are small and intend to emphasize stroke endings rather than stand out themselves. This principle is most noticeable in the italics where the lowercase characters are subdued in style to be at their best as elements of word-images.

When Cambria is used for captions at sizes over 20 point, the inter-character spacing should be slightly reduced for best results. The design isn't just intended for business documents: The regular weight has been extended with a large set of math and science symbols.

But as soon as I load unicode-math the checkmark disappears. Is there a work around for this? If you want the AMS tick back you can just load the font, simplest to do it as a text font.

I don't have Cambria, but the symptoms point to a missing glyph. Using amsfonts is not recommended: its symbols should be already available in a good Unicode math font. Unfortunately it is not exactly equal to the checkmark from amsfonts. Itemize in MSWord use the Wingdings font for check marks, therefore this gives a consistent look look for David's answer for the rest of the code.

Another pure-Cambria but horrible workaround is to use a different symbol for checkmark which naturally looks more like a square root :. Sign up to join this community. Yeah, I didn't think it really mattered, but everyone has their own taste. It is still a checkmark at least.

In any case, this might deserve to be reported to the unicode-math people since it is still, I think, an experimental package. This seems like a bug in unicode-mathI had other problems with it, for example, when using Cambria in the document Evince PDF viewer refuses to print! Just guessing: I can't find a checkmark in the copy of Cambria Math I have hereso this might be due to switching to OpenType completely and not being able to find the appropriate glyph.

Shouldn't it have a some kind of checkmark? Besides, why the check mark is taken from math font?
